Hammond Avenue Brethren Church has wonderful children and youth who are Biblically grounded and surrounded in God’s love by their church family.  To Help build their faith and relationship with Christ, we offer Sunday School Classes for all ages.

Our youth come from a variety of surrounding communities and are active in their school’s sports, band and academic contests.

During the summer they oten attend the church sponsored camp in Eldora called Camp Pine Lake.

Vacation Bible School is always a fun time, as well as, a variety of additional events throughout the year.

Our church family welcomes ALL and will adapt programing according to the needs of the child/youth.

A nursery is available for new born to 5 years of age.

Children’s Church is available during worship.

Hammond Avenue Brethren Church has a Child Protection Policy in place and background checks are performed on all child/youth workers.

Child Evangelism Good news Club will be here July 17-21!  “In 2016 Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) reached over 20 million children for Jesus worldwide.  CEF has been in the business of connecting unchurched children to churches for Christ for 80 years. CEF is the largest and oldest children’s international interdenominational ministry in the world.  CEF is in almost every country in the world.”  What our church will be doing:  We will provide the space for three clubs to be held every day. The times will be 10am, 1pm, 3pm.  The kids bring a sack lunch.  The clubs are facilitated by the Christian Youth In Action (CYIA) teams.  CEF trains the volunteers, performs background checks and provides curriculum.  We will provide snacks for the kids and hand them out during the week.  We will provide one meal for the CYIA volunteers which would be about 16 youth. We will pray for the event and consider helping with a CEF Good News Club in the fall held at Kittrell School.
